[WEEK 3, TUESDAY SOMETIME: Lelouch]

[HEY IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER MEETING OF SHADY PEOPLE]

[Magilou is napping in a tree branch today! dressed in her bikini rather than her bookskirt. bother her?]

[ he shakes his head, and there's at least a short pause before he joins her on the ground, too, although he sits cross-legged instead. ]

I didn't exactly mean it in that way. [ the being good for nothing by dying part, at least. and he dislikes being referred to as canon fodder. every piece on the board has a purpose, after all. ] My point was actually more along the lines that perhaps there's something that we're not considering to the fullest yet.

If this is a game, surely there must be a way for either side to win, although the odds seem to be unnaturally stacked in favour of our killers. We can assume that their win condition is for them to kill off everyone else on the island. With the partners, it's easy to thin the field.

We're playing into their win condition every time we execute someone. [ even though it's compulsory to vote off someone, which is why he hates this game!!! ]

Surely there must be another win condition. And if there are other roles, they should be designed to help those who don't have roles. [ like the items. although wtf was that basket thing last week ]

Then why have the partner system?

[ not that he doesn't think that Magilou doesn't have a good point. it's just that. without enough information, everything is so difficult to make head or tail of, unless they trash out every single possibilty? ]

Does it count then, if they don't kill the role personally? We still don't know how the partners die on Sunday. If they're executed by someone who isn't a killing role, would it qualify?

I don't think it's that simple either.

Too much speculation and not enough information. And the robots won't tell us anything important, either.

[ he laughs. ] There's nothing stopping people from revealing a role if they want to.

Although that might subject them to a strike and they're supposed to deal with the consequences on their own, so whether anyone is enough of a risk taker? Your guess is as good as mine.

[ it also says do not reveal your role, in caps, so there must be some form of retaliation involved, although he will agree to disagree on that point. ]

Essentially. I'm more interested in anyone who can bring information, however.

[ UNSURE FACE EMOJI X INFINITY I GUESS. ]

... That's because I don't have a role, either.

[ look maybe you just have bad social link luck to keep talking to people without roles!!! ]

I don't see any point in hiding it, since it's more likely than not that you don't have a role, either.

[ odds of probability and all that jazz. ]

[ we've established that she's the magstermind. ]

On the other hand, you would also be one of the better people to give a role to, since no one would believe you have a role.

[ he'll shrug. ] I wouldn't be surprised if my asking around has sent out alarm bells of a sort.
